Refund and Cancellation Policy
At Loving Legacy In-Home Veterinary Care, we understand that making the decision for in-home euthanasia is a deeply personal and emotional one. Our goal is to provide compassionate and professional care, and we have designed our policies with empathy and respect for this difficult time.
1. Services Rendered
Due to the nature of our professional veterinary services, we do not offer refunds once the service has been completed. Our fees cover the in-home visit, the veterinarian's time, compassionate care, and the supplies used to ensure a peaceful and dignified process for your pet.
2. Appointment Cancellations
We request that you provide as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. A last-minute cancellation prevents us from assisting another family who may be in urgent need of our services.

Cancellation with 48 or more hours' notice: There is no cancellation fee. However any cost of credit card or banking fees will be taken from the deposit. We will then process a refund of any pre-payment.

Cancellation between 24-48 hours' notice: A cancellation fee of $100 will be applied plus any applicable bank/credit card or processing fees. The remainder of any pre-payment will be refunded.

No-Show or Refusal to Proceed Upon Arrival or less than 24 hours notice: If our veterinary team arrives at your home for a scheduled appointment and the service is declined, a full appointment cost and travel fee trip/consultation fee will be charged to cover the veterinarian's time, travel, and the inability to schedule another client. This fee is non-refundable. Any additional aftercare/memorialization items or services will be refunded if not provided.
3. My Pet Passed Away Before the Appointment
We understand that a pet’s condition can change rapidly. If your beloved pet passes away peacefully before our scheduled arrival, please contact us immediately to cancel the appointment.

If you notify us at least 2 hours prior to our scheduled arrival time, we will issue a full refund of any pre-payment.

If you notify us with less than 2 hours notice, and we are already en route, a $100 house call fee will be charged to cover travel time. The remainder of your pre-payment will be refunded munis any bank or credit card charges for cost of refund. We can still assist you with aftercare services if desired.

Client satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us, and we are committed to resolving any concerns you may have.
